About The Making Co.
Founded by jewellery designer Oliver Vowles-Burrows & Sarah Reeves, with a shared belief that well-designed jewellery making should feel calm, achievable and accessible. Combining professional design experience with a considered, confidence-building approach, each kit is created to guide you through making a piece you will be proud of, with focus on design, materials, and clarity of process.
Design-led approach
Each kit is designed by a professional jeweller. The focus is on form, proportion, and technique. Every element is considered: from the materials selected to the clarity of the instructions provided.
The kits are not simplified versions of jewellery-making. They are complete projects that teach real techniques using quality materials.
Quality materials
Sterling silver, gold-filled elements, copper, and semi-precious and precious stones. The materials in each kit are the same materials used by professional jewellers.
There is no compromise on material quality. The finished pieces are designed to be worn and kept.
